Like his sire, Ahorn's Calypso, Andiamo has a powerful canter, a big reaching trot and is a natural scoopey jumper. Andiamo is a stallion with exceptional bloodlines. His sire Ahorn's Calypso was the highest bonited stallion of 1999, receiving 8's on type, trot and canter. His grand sire Ahorn Z, is famous in the Holsteiner breed for producing outstanding show jumpers and successful breeding stallions. Ahorn Z is a full brother to Argentina , dam of the Olympic Gold medalist and Word Cup Champion, Ratina Z. Ahorn's Calypso is a 3/4 brother to Accord I (International Grand Prix horse with Hap Hansen) and Accord II, (Reserve Champion of the German Show Jumping and Grand Champion of the 100-day test). Ahorn's dam, Eureka, competed Internationally (wining the Grand Prix of Aachen in Germany) and is ranked as one of the 10 best brood-mares in the world. Andiamo's dam, Tropical Bikini, is out of a TB line with major international and national Stakes Winners, giving Andiamo his great athleticism and stamina. Among them: Bold Tropic, Bold Ruler, Sage down, Wyndham, Count fleet, and the legendary Nasrullah and Sea Biscuit. Andiamo's grand dam, Episode II, is a State Premium Mare. Episode II's sire, Calypso I, sired 20 approved stallions and almost 100 States Premium Mares. Calypso I's progeny are both International dressage horses and show jumpers. Calypso's sire, Cor de la Bryere, was a foundation horse that transformed the Holsteiner breed, as well as Ladykiller on Episode II's maternal side.
